Many games have multiple win conditions

Optimal play depends on the weighting between those win conditions

Looking at symmetric two-player zero sum games

1 point for winning, c points for alternate win

Only seven cases have to be distinguished

  • c > 1, c = 1, 0 < c < 1, c = 0, -1 < c < 0, c = -1, c < -1

Frequency of wins does not depend monotonically on just c
